Electronic technology company CETC ECRIEEPOWER (Anhui) is one of the technology providers behind the successful launch of China's lunar probe Chang'e-5 on Nov 24.
The lunar probe was launched to collect and return samples from the moon, a task which is extremely demanding and sophisticated in terms of technology and engineering.
The 43rd Research Institute of ECRIEEPOWER has provided a stable electric power supply for each functional unit in the probe, with four types of high-voltage anti-irradiation (DC/DC) converters.
The institute overcame many technological challenges in developing the converters, which are relatively small and light and work well in harsh space conditions.
In addition, a special low-temperature receiver developed by the 16th Research Institute of ECRIEEPOWER was used in ground monitoring and communications. The device can accurately receive weak signals from hundreds of millions of kilometers away.
