Qinxin Park, a street park for fitness, leisure and sightseeing, recently opened in Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone, following two months of construction on a vacant plot.

The park is located at the southwest corner of intersection of Haitang Road and Jixian Road and covers an area of 2,800 square meters. It was built by the zone's urban management bureau in order to improve the living environment for surrounding residents.

Following the park's opening, a resident surnamed Li from Shangcheng Garden Community walked to Qinxin Park to exercise after breakfast. Many individuals have come in the park's square area to exercise, some sitting by the flower beds to rest and chat, and others strolling along the trail to exercise.

"It's merely a five-minute walk to get there. Neighbors enjoy coming here to have fun," Li said. "It used to be a wasteland, but now that the park is finished, we don't have to travel as far to get some exercise."

During all four seasons, the park provides an evergreen biological environment with beautiful flowers. Begonias and plum blossoms, as well as sweet osmanthus, camphor bushes, and other trees and shrubs, can be seen.

There are also rest areas with chairs and fitness facilities, as well as a 40-sq-m station with a book corner, a lounge, and a platform with free drinking water, making the park a great spot for people to unwind, exercise, and take in the scenery.

According to the bureau, they have adjusted measures due to local conditions in recent years, based on the current greening situation in the zone, with plans to organically connect the green space of linear urban roads with small parks distributed in dotted patterns, and to use corner plots to build the parks. The zone is aiming to create a green space pattern of "300 meters to view green and 500 m to see garden", so that residents in the area can enjoy the benefits of living in the greenery.
